Lifestyle & Habit Coaching

What barriers are holding you back? Let’s identify them and work together.

Introduction:

At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief: health and fitness should feel accessible. You don’t need a perfect plan, the “right” body, or hours of free time – you just need a path that fits your individual needs and goals.

My approach is rooted in meeting you exactly where you are. Whether you’re brand new to nutrition and movement, returning after time away, or looking to build strength and confidence, where you are right now is enough.

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all programs or extremes. I believe in helping you find ways to nourish and move your body that you actually enjoy – because that’s what creates consistency, self-assurance, and lasting change.

This is about more than workouts or nutrition plans. It’s about building a version of yourself that feels strong, capable. and empowered.

Getting Equipment

When getting started with strength training, there are a few basic necessities:

Good shoes

Good shoes are essential for any exercise. For strength training, try athletic shoes with good support, such as walking, running, or cross-training sneakers. The sole should be rubber, but not too thick. Shoes with thick soles (like many styles of Hoka) can cause you to lose balance when lifting weights.

Comfortable clothing

Wear loose, cool clothing that breathes well during exercise — for example, a cotton T-shirt and cotton shorts or pants. If you want to buy new workout clothes, look for materials that absorb moisture and that you feel comfortable in.

Dumbbells

You can certainly get started with an exercise program without weights but you will need them as  you get stronger and add new exercises. If possible, it’s a good idea to buy these before you begin strength training or soon after you start, so that you’ll have them when you’re ready.

I have not personally used this brand, but I have some that are very similar and they are excellent for saving space: https://a.co/d/0gm3NKBF

Exercise bands

Last, but certainly not least, exercise bands can be used in so many different ways and are a huge help for training in a gym, at home, in an office, on vacation, etc! Mine have been all over the world with me! I have this brand: https://a.co/d/0fvqn1Tn
